Over the past two months, I’ve been on a roll with my work.

I’ve been crafting mugs, wine glasses, art objets whenever inspiration strikes.

Starting at sunrise,

I’ve been abrading plasters, making molds,

one after another,

completely absorbed in my work,

not even knowing the sun comes down.

While I was lost in the dopamine rush of productivity in cost of my stamina,

I accidentally deeply punctured my left index finger

with a sharp wooden gimlet.

Oh god,

The pain was excruciating, yet I couldn’t even make a sound.

After finally managing to stop the bleeding and calm myself down,

I realized my hands were swelling day by day.

Concerned, I went to the doctor,

and he warned me that the infection could spread into my nerves.

He even showed my Google images of similar cases, which only made my fear worse.

Apparently, if this worsens, I may need to undergo surgery to amputate the affected nerves.

Needless to say,

this has

scared me away from working for a while!
